Board book
Ages 3-5

A whimsical story (with smart, witty, hip illustrations) about Little Oink, an affable pig with a fastidious temperament that is quite rebellious to the pig world. Little Oink would rather prefer to keep his room compulsively tidy while every good pig is expected to rut gloriously in an ample pig sty. "When I grow up, I'm going to let my kids clean up their rooms as much as they want," he flares. Following in the success of Little Pea and Little Hoot, Little Oink maintains the trinity that the successful pairing of Rosenthal (writer) and Corace (illustrator) to turn the typical upside-down to produce an amusedly clever and thoughtful story. The book does not fail to entertain and will have both parent and child squealing with good humor at the particular pig and the witty ending allowing all to live "hap-pig-ly ever after."
