"Farmer Brown has a problem.

...But his problems really begin when these rebellious literate cows start typing direct requests and staging peaceful protests until their needs are met. Blankets for milk. The bovine wait wide eyed for Farmer Brown's response. Then a domino effect occurs. Other animals are being neglected on Farmer Brown's farm and want fair treatment and basic rights also. The chickens want blankets. Now it's no milk, no eggs. What will be the conflict resolution? Blankets are issued to both parties. And then... cue the ducks.
This phenomenal book is hilarious and deserves the multiple awards that it has won. Overall, it is funny and entertaining. The plot is charming and engaging while it has a good message and the illustrations reinforce the humor with bold outlined forms and expressions that communicate emotions clearly. In addition, there is the message of animal rights... or rather anti-animal cruelty... and correct ways to organize a protest.
This book is great to read out loud and children will enjoy the exchanges between animals and farmer.
