Buster invites the reader to get feely at the zoo. 

From the bestselling author Rod Campbell (Dear Zoo), comes another interactive zoo related book. This simple book allows young children to see animals in the context of a zoo and lets them experience one version of a zoo without leaving the house. Buster starts his trip to the zoo by stopping by to listen to a lion. The lion's mane is the touch and feel part of the page. This might not be the best touch and feel animal but so be it. Next monkeys are seen eating bananas at a table where a corner of the tablecloth can be lifted to reveal a young monkey eating an apple. Buster points out little facts and characteristics about the animals such as polar bears like to eat fish and that elephants can be ridden. Wait a minute, some of these things seem a little off when critically examined. Oh well. All and all the book is just for fun and nothing really beyond that. 

As a side note, we love Dear Zoo. For me, in Dear Zoo, I like the idea of animals being sent out to loving homes. Maybe, I've just had bad zoo experiences. This book is commercially fine.
