This book is specifically for the first year of a child's life. In it are lapsits, rhymes, songs, activities, and ways to stimulate babies along with developmental information. Play is a very important for a child and parents should consider activities as part of the early literacy process. There are other books but this is one that was gifted to me and has been handy.
