Children love Mo Willem's humor and love these characters. They are very enthusiastic about reading these stories. They really get into all of Mo Willem's characters. This is also a classic type of early reader book and will really help with early literacy. In addition, the guessable expressive speech bubbles, humor, repetitive text, facial expressions, large print, and easily read font are also good for helping young readers or those learning to read. Very effective.
